Terry and Jill commenced showing dogs in the late 1960’s and
together in 1974, they established Westobri Kennels
They showed and worked their gundogs in the Northern Territory and were
foundation members of the Palmerston Gundog Club.
Also at that time they began a life long love of their beloved Rottweilers
showing them and being involved in obedience.
They moved to Adelaide in South Australia in 1979 bringing their kennel
with them.
Terry became a licensed Retrieving Trial Judge. He also became president
of the Rottweiler Club of South Australia.
Jill's interests over the years have been mainly in the conformation
ring and with the breeding aspects of the kennel although when time
permitted she has enjoyed participating in retrieving trials, obedience
and tracking. Jill is the immediate past president of the Rottweiler Club
of South Australia.
Kerryn grew up with pedigree dogs. At the age of 6 she commenced
as a junior handler. She has won the State Junior handlers Final
and has shown many breeds to championship and Grand Championship
titles. At the age of 18 she became a partner in Westobri.
Kerryn is a licensed Group Six and Rottweiler Specialist judge, she is also currently training for Group 2. She has judged in New Zealand and all States of Australia. Kerryn has also officiated at two Rottweiler Specialty shows in Australia and is currently the youngest Rottweiler Specialist Judge in Australia.
She is a past president of the Junior Kennel Club of SA has judged
Junior Handler State Finals.
