Our Rottweilers are known Australia wide for their outstanding temperaments and soundness. We work to promote the Rottweiler and educate the public in responsible dog ownership. Our dogs are consistently used at public exhibitions they are used as the breed representatives promoting purebred dogs all over South Australia.
In the Breed Specialty Ring, Westobri Rottweilers have been consistent
winners at specialities since their inception in Australia. Both
our dogs and bitches have gone through to Best in Show and our dogs
are consistently V rated under International Breed Specialists
In the All Breeds ring we have been equally successful over the
years consistently winning group and in show awards. Several of
our dogs have won Best In Show at major shows
In our breeding program the emphasis is on temperament and type
and breeding is in accordance with code of ethics of the Canine
Control Body and Breed Organization. All breeding stock is hip and
elbow xrayed, and have eye and mouth certification.
We have imported two outstanding males in the past, Aust Champion
Heimgardes Baron Von Smutley (Imp USA) and Beaverbrook Duke V Boss
(Imp USA). Both have had a strong influence on our breeding program
and this is evident today.
In 2007 Westobri formed Rottweiler Rescue SA Inc. A private organisation and the only one of its kind in South Australia to assist in the rehoming of Rottweilers in need and increase public awareness and education.
